My approach integrates targeted programming for persistent, nagging issues with progressive strength and conditioning—so you’re not just getting out of pain, you’re building toward higher levels of performance.

This process is rooted in education and autonomy. You’ll understand what you’re doing and why, developing the confidence to train independently and make informed decisions about your body. Who I am

My name is Ethan Schalekamp. I’m a doctor of physical therapy with a background in competitive weightlifting, rock climbing, and trail running. Across my career, I’ve concentrated on using sports medicine to help athletes return to performance after injury.
